What are the Artemis Missions
NASA’s push to the moon began November 16 when Artemis 1 was launched from Kennedy Space Center. Its uncrewed spacecraft, the Orion Capsule made a 25.5-day mission around the moon. Splashdown was on December 11, 2022, off the coast of San Diego California.
The last mission to the moon was 1972 Apollo 17 over 50 years ago
